Capitalnet Microfinance Ltd is a deposit-taking financial institution incorporated on 22nd June 2009 as a Liability Company registered under the Companies Code 1963 (ACT 179) to provide financial services and was authorized to commence business on 23rd June, 2009. The company commenced operation on 9th March, 2015.

Establishment
Capitalnet Microfinance Ltd is a non-bank Tier 2 deposit-taking financial institution incorporated on 22nd June, 2009 with the name Capitalnet Limited as a Liability Company registered under the Companies Code 1963 (ACT 179) to provide financial services and was authorized to commence business on 23rd June, 2009. By a special resolution of the Board, the name of the company was changed to Capitalnet Microfinance Limited on 14th December 2014. The company commenced operation on 9th March, 2015.
